Web3 gaming company Gameplay Galaxy completes $11.17 million funding round

Web3 game development studio Gameplay Galaxy has raised $11.17 million in its latest seed round of extended funding, led by Blockchain Capital and Merit Circle, with other investors participating anonymously. The round values the company at $71 million. Founded in 2022 by the founding team of the Trial Xtreme series, Gameplay Galaxy plans to transform its successful extreme sports gaming brand into a Web3 ecosystem. The studio is currently working on its first Web3 game, Trial Xtreme Freedom, and plans to release it in Quarter 1 next year, along with the release of game tokens.
