Nasdaq-listed medical apparatus manufacturer Semler Scientific announced that it has purchased an additional 83 BTC for $5.20 million (~ 760 million yen), and the company currently holds a total of 1,012 BTC for a purchase price of $68 million (~ 9.20 billion yen).
It is reported that Semler has been actively pursuing the strategy of using cash reserves to buy bitcoin, and has been steadily increasing its holdings since it first invested $40 million to buy 654 bitcoin in May.
US-listed company Semler Scientifi now holds over 1,000 BTC.
