On August 27th, according to the official blog, Lido DAO has introduced the "On-Chain Delegation and Delegate Incentive Program" through Vote178 and Snapshot voting. The program establishes a public delegate platform, simplifies governance processes, increases participation and decision transparency. The 6-month pilot delegate incentive program will provide a total of $150,000 in LDO tokens to incentivize active delegates who meet the criteria. Token holders retain full control over voting and can override delegate decisions.
The program will be launched on September 19, Beijing time and will run until March 18, 2025. Eligible delegates will be required to have more than 2 million LDOs on Aragon and Snapshot, and can receive up to $15,000 in LDO rewards every three months. To ensure the smooth operation of the system, a delegate oversight committee will be established to evaluate delegate performance and distribute incentives.
