Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, has cast a shadow over the only debate he and Harris, the Democratic nominee, have agreed on, and the agreed-upon date is now only about two weeks away. In a post on Truth Social on Sunday night, Trump criticized ABC News, the host of the Sept. 10 debate, implying that it favored Harris and asked, "Why am I debating Harris on that network?" He added, "Why did Harris reject Fox, NBC, CBS and even CNN?" The Harris campaign said in a statement on Monday that the two sides were at odds over whether their microphones should be muted when the other candidate speaks.
