8月26日消息，币安宣布收到来自香港警务处有组织罪案及三合会调查科（OCTB）所撰写的感谢信，以感谢币安在近期一起重大绑架案件侦办中所做出的贡献。香港警方也表达其认识到在打击利用新兴技术犯罪活动时需要集体努力，并赞扬了币安在应对这些挑战时所采取主动积极的立场。
币安调查团队成员Carlos Mak表示：“我们始终坚信，公私协力是维护加密金融环境安全，同时也是促进行业信任的关键。未来币安也将持续在预防和打击犯罪上做出贡献，不遗余力。”
