Lucie, Shiba Inu's anonymous head of marketing, said in a post on X that the team will launch a DAO that will allow SHIB holders to vote on future initiatives and have a say in the future direction of the project. Two main councils, the Charity Council and the Culture & Heritage Council, will guide the governance of the DAO.
According to Lucie, the two committees will "lead community initiatives" ranging from philanthropic outreach to "protecting the unique culture brought by the Shiba Inu Meme community". Other tokens in the SHIB ecosystem, including BONE and LEASH, will also play a role in the DAO governance process.
