Bank of China: Governor Liu Jin resigns

On August 25, Bank of China announced that Mr. Liu Jin resigned as vice chairperson, executive director, member of the Strategy and Development Committee of the board of directors and president of the bank due to personal reasons. The resignation will take effect on August 25, 2024. The board of directors approved Mr. Ge Haijiao to perform the duties of president on his behalf.
