Telegram 曾在欧洲封锁了哈马斯的官方渠道之一。该组织名为“哈马斯运动”，拥有约 15 万名订阅者，该频道发布了哈马斯活动分子在 2023 年 10 月 7 日袭击新星部落音乐节期间绑架法以人质米娅·斯赫姆 (Mia Schem) 的视频。但 telegram 的监管行为仍旧是部分且非常有限的。
