On August 24, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning announced that at the invitation of Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and director of the Office of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission, Jack Sullivan, Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs, will visit China from August 27 to 29 to hold a new round of Sino-US strategic communication.
