Pro Farmer Releases 2024 U.S. Soybean and Corn Production and Yield Estimates

Gold Ten Futures, August 24th, the crop inspection of Pro Farmer, a subsidiary of the US Farm Futures magazine, shows: < br > 1. The expected US soybean yield in 2024 is 54.9 bushels/acre, higher than the 53.2 bushels/acre expected by the USDA's August monthly report, and higher than the 49.7 bushels/acre expected by the 2023 crop inspection. < br > 2. The expected US soybean yield in 2024 is 4.74 billion bushels, higher than the 4.589 billion bushels expected by the USDA's August monthly report, and higher than the 4.11 billion bushels expected by the 2023 crop inspection. < br > 3. The expected US corn yield in 2024 is 181.1 bushels/acre, lower than the 183.1 bushels/acre expected by the USDA's August monthly report, but higher than the 172 bushels/acre expected by the 2023 crop inspection. < br > 4. U.S. corn production in 2024 is expected to be 14.979 billion bushels, below the USDA's August estimate of 15.147 billion bushels but above the 14.96 billion bushels from the 2023 Crop Inspection.
