On April 3rd, according to insiders, Tiger Global Management raised approximately $2.2 billion for its latest venture capital fund, Private Investment Partners 16 fund (PIP16), far below its target of $6 billion and the smallest fundraising in nearly a decade. Tiger Global's previous $12.7 billion fund was its largest in history. PIP 16 will mainly support startups in the field of enterprise technology, with a focus on the United States and India.
