Binance stated in a statement that Tigran Gambaryan is a US citizen who has been serving as a federal agent for the past decade, investigating cases related to national security, terrorist financing, and more. As a member of the elite network investigation team of the Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI) department of the US Treasury Department, Tigran has led multiple investigations worth billions of dollars, including the Silk Road Corruption Investigation, BTC e Bitcoin Exchange, and Mt Gox hackers.
