According to Cryptonews, Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has charged a Moscow scientist with "treason" for allegedly sending cryptocurrencies to the Ukrainian armed forces. The FSB said the scientist regularly transferred personal funds and cryptocurrencies to wallets controlled by the Ukrainian army and participated in DDoS attacks on key Russian facilities. The FSB said the scientist also collected information on the movements of Russian military personnel and equipment and confessed to his actions. Since the conflict broke out in Russia and Ukraine, the FSB has repeatedly prosecuted individuals supporting Ukraine on similar charges.
