Stages 的运作方式如下：开发者首先开始直播，然后其他用户可以申请加入或被邀请上台。在加入直播前，参与者需要开启麦克风，摄像头则为可选项。观众和台上参与者可以固定任何活跃的直播参与者或屏幕共享画面。如果开发者离开直播，整个直播将结束。
