SatLayer, a Babylon-based bitcoin re-pledge platform, announced the completion of a $8 million Pre-Seed round of funding, led by Hack VC and Castle Island Ventures, with participation from Franklin Templeton, OKX Ventures, Mirana Ventures, Amber Group, Big Brain Holdings, CMS Holdings and others. SatLayer co-founder Luke Xie told The Block that the project's original goal was to raise $4 million, but when the funding began in April, the round was oversubscribed within a month. (TheBlock)
