On August 22nd, according to Axelar Network Status, the Axelar mainnet is scheduled to undergo an upgrade around 22:00 on August 28th, and the network is expected to be down for about 2 hours. This upgrade will enable the mainnet deployment of Interchain Amplifier.
During this time, Axelar Network, Satellite, Token Transfer, and Universal Messaging will be unavailable.

Automated connections to any type of blockchain, new cross-chain connections are made public through smart contracts rather than through the protocol layer.
