8月20日消息，Swan Bitcoin首席执行官Cory Klippsten解释暂停IPO并大规模裁员的原因。Cory Klippsten表示：“IPO计划因与托管采矿业务的大融资伙伴产生分歧而搁置，导致短期内无法实现预期的现金流。Swan增加了市场营销费用，并在计划提交IPO文件以寻求SEC批准的预期下招聘了更多员工，但随着大举支出的理由和资金消失，我们不得不削减市场营销和人员。”
此前消息，比特币金融服务公司Swan Bitcoin放弃了公开上市计划，关闭了其管理的挖矿部门，并在多个部门进行了裁员。
