Forbes reporter Eleanor Terrett posted on the X platform that David Hirsch, a former senior member of the SEC's crypto oversight division, has joined law firm McGuireWoods LLP. According to the company's announcement, Hirsch's new role will include "extensive securities enforcement practices, including advising clients on cyber security and crypto-asset-related matters."
Writing on LinkedIn, Hirsch said: "I am honored to join this nationally renowned law firm, working with clients on regulatory issues related to cyber security and crypto assets, as well as a range of more traditional regulatory challenges and investigations."
