On August 20, Bitfinex announced a partnership with compliance digital asset custodian Komainu Connect to explore strategic integration. The integration is expected to "allow institutional and veteran investors to take advantage of Bitfinex's deep liquidity and trading capabilities while maintaining the security of their assets in a separate, regulated custodial environment." The collaboration is enabled by Ledger Enterprise's over the counter and settlement technology, Ledger Tradelink, which "enables institutional clients to trade through the Bitfinex platform."
