OSL Group 2024 Interim Results Report: Digital Asset and Blockchain Platform Revenue 123.80 million HKD, Loss Decreased 90.2% YoY

On August 16, OSL Group, a Hong Kong-listed company, announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2024. Key performance data include:
International Financial Reporting Standards revenue from the digital assets and blockchain platform business was HK $123.8 million, up 17.7% from HK $105.2 million last year.
2. The loss of continuing operations decreased significantly by 90.2% year-on-year from HK $98.9 million to HK $9.6 million.
3. In the digital asset balance, including the digital assets held by the Group in designated customer accounts under various contractual arrangements totaling approximately HK $179,034,000 (31 December 2023: HK $639,136,000). In addition, including the Group's proprietary digital assets of approximately HK $258,973,000 (31 December 2023: HK $184,564,000). The balance is recorded in profit or loss at fair value;
As of June 30, 2024, OSL Digital Securities Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary and a licensed corporation of the Hong Kong Securities Supervision Commission, received from and held on behalf of its clients the fair value of certain digital assets of approximately HK $3,612,038,000 (December 31, 2023: HK $874,731,000).
