8 月 16 日消息，印度加密交易平台 WazirX 发布安全事件更新，计划维护现已完成。用户账户余额已恢复，自 2024 年 7 月 18 日美国标准时间下午 1 点提款停止后在 WazirX 平台上进行的所有交易均已撤消。
此前报道，8 月 8 日，WazirX 表示，在仔细考虑情况和收到大量用户反馈后，决定恢复所有账户的余额，并撤销在 2024 年 7 月 18 日印度标准时间下午 1 点停止提款后在 WazirX 平台上进行的所有交易。7 月 18 日，印度加密货币交易平台 WazirX 遭遇黑客攻击，其以太坊网络上的多签钱包被盗。总计 2.349 亿美元被转移。
