U.S. stocks continued to rise, with the Nasdaq expanding its gains to 2 percent and the S & P 500 now up 1.3 percent. Among star technology stocks, Cisco (CSCO. O) rose 8 percent, Tesla (TSLA. O) rose about 6.5 percent, Micron (MU. O) rose 5.4 percent, Amazon (AMZN. O) rose nearly 4 percent, ASML (ASML. O) rose 3.7 percent and NVIDIA (NVDA. O) rose 3.5 percent.
