On August 15th, TON officially posted on the X platform: "tgBTC". Or hinted that TON will name the bitcoin network bridge TON Teleport BTC token "tgBTC", which allows users to securely and trustlessly transfer bitcoin to the TON blockchain.
The bridge will enable BTC to directly interact with decentralized finance (DeFi) applications on the TON network, such as decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and lending platforms.
TON will soon encapsulate bitcoin or tgBTC on its network.
