Bitfinex to explore integration with Komainu Connect for new remote hosting solution

On August 15th, digital asset trading platform Bitfinex announced today that it has partnered with cryptocurrency custodian Komainu Connect to explore strategic integration to enable a new remote custody solution. The two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the collaboration, which will be powered by Ledger Enterprise's over the counter and settlement technology, Ledger Tradelink ™. This technology enables institutional clients to trade through the Bitfinex platform. The integration is expected to provide institutional and established investors with a means to take advantage of Bitfinex's liquidity and trading capabilities while keeping their assets safe in independent, regulated environments.
