Cronos Labs announced that the Cronos zkEVM mainnet has been officially launched.
Cronos zkEVM is a Layer-2 blockchain built on top of Ethereum and powered by ZKsync technology. Launched in December 2023, its testnet has processed millions of transactions with over 3 million unique addresses.
Cronos zkEVM uses zkCRO (a liquidity staked version of CRO) as the gas token.
