美SEC指控Burkhalter及其公司涉嫌3亿美元庞氏骗局

8月14日消息，美国证券交易委员会（SEC）今日宣布，已获得针对总部位于亚特兰大的 Drive Planning LLC 及其创始人兼首席执行官 Russell Todd Burkhalter 的初步禁令、资产冻结和其他紧急救济，以阻止一项影响超过 2,000 名投资者的 3 亿美元房地产庞氏骗局。此外，还任命了 Drive Planning 的接管人。美国证券交易委员会指控被告挪用了数百万美元的投资者资金来资助 Burkhalter 的奢侈生活方式并进行类似庞氏骗局的支付。
