HKMA and Hong Kong Cyberport Launch Generative Artificial Intelligence Sandbox. The new GenA.I. Sandbox is a ground-breaking initiative to promote responsible innovation and development of GenA.I. in the banking industry, according to HKMA Chief Executive Officer David Yu. The sandbox will assist banks in testing various innovative use cases of GenA.I. within a risk-controlled framework, and provide the required technical support and targeted regulatory advice. We encourage banks to make full use of the sandbox to unlock the potential of GenA.I. in enhancing risk management, anti-fraud and customer experience.
