Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas posted a chart to X on August 13 showing that the ETF currently holds 909,700 bitcoins, which are worth around $55.10 billion at current prices of around $60,500. They are approaching Satoshi's estimated 1.1 million BTC reserve.
On average, Bitcoin ETFs add about 37,510 BTC to their holdings each month, and at this rate, their holdings could exceed Satoshi's holdings in January, a year after their initial launch.
