8月13日消息，一名澳大利亚男子因其伴侣意外收到Crypto.com的数百万美元退款后被判入狱三年。39岁的贾廷德·辛格（Jatinder Singh）在维多利亚郡法院承认盗窃440万美元，并被判刑。2021年5月，辛格尝试使用其伴侣的银行账户向Crypto.com账户存入65美元，但因名字不符被拒，因一名员工的重大会计错误，该账户被退还1047万澳元（约680万美元）。辛格随后将这笔资金转入夫妇的共同账户并进行了大量消费。
