Japanese listed company Metaplanet Inc. announced on August 13 that it has completed the purchase of 500 million yen worth of bitcoin. The purchase is part of the company's previously announced 1 billion yen bitcoin loan and purchase program.
The specific purchase details are as follows: 57.103 bitcoins were purchased at an average purchase price of 8,756,107 yen each. The company currently holds a total of 303.095 bitcoins at an average purchase price of 9,732,933 yen each. The total value of the company's bitcoin holdings reached 295 million yen.
