Lorenzo, founder and CEO of UniSat, has announced rapid progress in smart contracts and cross-chain bridge implementations.
In terms of smart contracts, Fractal today launched OP_CAT in a testnet reset and plans to activate it on the mainnet from September 1st. This is the first step to enhance the scripting capabilities of Bitcoin with the support of the UniSat team and the sCrypt team. Developers can explore the potential programming capabilities of enabling OP_CAT on GitHub.
Regarding cross-chain bridges, three to five methods are being developed to transfer assets from the Bitcoin mainnet to Fractal, both traditional and innovative.
