On Monday evening local time, former US President Donald Trump had a live conversation with Tesla CEO Elon Musk on the X platform.
Trump reiterated his views on immigration, the Biden administration and Vice President Harris. He also reiterated his claim that he gets along well with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
On inflation, Mr. Trump said "people are absolutely devastated by inflation" and "we have to get prices down".
Referring to the oil and gas industry, Mr. Musk said: "I don't think we should denigrate the oil and gas industry." He said the economy depended on these sources of energy. But he did say he wanted the US to move to a "more sustainable economy" because of environmental pollution.
