On August 13, White House officials said that Iran may launch an attack on Israel this week, and spot gold stood at $2,470/ounce, up 1.62% in the day. WTI crude oil rose 4.00% in the day, now at $78.71/barrel, and Brent crude oil rose more than 3%, at $81.76/barrel.
