Cryptocurrency exchange Gemini has urged U.S. regulators to withdraw a proposed regulation that, if passed, would ban all event contracts on decentralized prediction markets.
"We highlight the adverse impact this rule will have on prediction markets, including those used to predict elections," Gemini said in an Aug. 8 letter to Christopher Kirkpatrick, secretary of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
