Atari Launches Classic Arcade Game Breakout on Base

On August 10th, according to Decrypt, gaming giant Atari (Atari) has launched the classic arcade game Breakout on the Base chain. In July this year, Atari first announced a partnership with Base to release a blockchain version of its iconic video game Asteroids. As with Asteroids, players need to connect their Coinbase, MetaMask, Rainbow or WalletConnect wallets to play the game and mint Breakout NFT for 0.0015 ETH (about $3.60). The mint proceeds will be distributed to the developers and artists of each game.
