On August 9th, crypto infrastructure startup Conduit tweeted that it has transferred ownership of three OP Stack Chain L1 contract upgrade keys deployed on Conduit to the Optimism Security Council. The three OP Stack Rollups participating in the key handover this week are Mode, Zora, and Metal L2.
Previously, it was reported that Optimism will introduce a governance system in Season 5. Collective will launch the "Citizen's House" and perform the first round of "United House" voting. In addition, an Optimism Safety Committee will be established, composed of a group of community members, whose task is to implement the protocol upgrade in accordance with the governance wishes.
