The Coinbase Ventures-backed Vega network, a blockchain and decentralized exchange (DEX) using the Cosmos network infrastructure, has also joined the prediction market race with its own upgraded prediction-focused version. Vega is one of many crypto platforms focused on perpetual futures, a tool for speculating on future asset prices.
Vega's new update expands its DEX app to accommodate prediction markets, allowing users to place bets on the outcome of future events just as they can currently place bets on future token prices.
