Grey release, Bitwise and NYSE propose allowing options trading on spot Ethereum ETFs

Grey release and Bitwise in conjunction with the New York Stock Exchange have filed a proposed rule change with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) proposing to allow trading of options on the Bitwise Ethereum ETF, Grey release Ethereum Trust, and Grey release Ethereum mini-trust. The options would provide investors with an additional, relatively low-cost investment vehicle while serving as a hedging tool to meet investor demand for Ethereum products and positions, the filing states. Public comment on the proposal is due within 21 days. Multiple companies are also seeking permission to trade options on spot Bitcoin ETFs, but have not yet received approval.
