Immutable recently announced that it will close its Immutable X marketplace on August 13 and cease operations altogether on September 27. Originally launched to showcase the capabilities of the Immutable SDK, the Immutable X marketplace is now shifting its focus to supporting third-party marketplaces rather than maintaining its own trading platform.
Users of the Immutable marketplace do not need to take any special action on their assets. All NFTs and tokens are stored on the blockchain, tied to the user's wallet address, and accessible in different marketplaces that use the Immutable global order book.
