On August 7th, the Uniswap Foundation officially released its unaudited quarterly financial summary ending June 30, 2024, stating that as of Q2, it held $36.81 million in US dollars and stablecoins and 680,000 UNIs. These fiat (US dollar) cash and stablecoins will be used for grants and operational activities, while UNIs will be used for employee token rewards. It is expected that these funds can be maintained until the end of 2025 and distributed as follows:
Grant commitments and incentives: A total of $26.12 million will be used for grants, of which $22.46 million will be committed in 2024 and 2025, and $3.66 million for previously committed grants, pending disbursement. The remaining $10.69 million will be used to fund operating expenses through the end of 2025.
