The three major indices of US stocks collectively closed up, the Dow rose 0.76%, the Nasdaq rose 1.03%, the S & P 500 rose 1.03%, and most popular technology stocks rose. Nvidia and Meta rose more than 3%, Microsoft rose more than 1%, and Apple fell nearly 1%. Semiconductors, travel services, and precious metals were among the top gainers. Micro Semiconductors rose more than 5%, Airbnb rose more than 4%, and Arm rose more than 2%.
