Optimism has announced the launch of Superchain Registry and Blockspace Charters, a new governance framework.
Superchain Registry can provide actionable information for each chain in a hyperchain, allowing users and developers to know which chains are right for them. Blockspace Charters can make informed decisions about protocol upgrades, taking into account potential differences between different types of chains and grouping similar chains together.
In addition, Optimism says it is developing native interoperability standards that allow for proof-of-failure on multiple chains simultaneously, as well as an asynchronous communication framework to simplify the use of interoperability capabilities and integrate repeaters, intents, and more.
