Xiaomi Motors requires suppliers to increase production capacity to 10000 vehicles per month

On April 2nd, it was learned from informed sources that Xiaomi Motors has recently requested its suppliers to increase production capacity to 10000 vehicles per month, with the high-end version being required to focus on increasing production capacity. According to the original production plan, Xiaomi Motors will produce over 3000 vehicles per month by March this year, and this value will climb to 4000-5000 vehicles by April. From then on, the monthly production capacity will stabilize at the level of 6000 vehicles by the end of the year. However, the recent market sales of Xiaomi Motors have exceeded expectations, and as of the early morning of April 2nd, the lock order volume of Xiaomi SU7 has reached 40000 units. If we follow the previous production plan, the delivery cycle of Xiaomi SU7 can only be continuously extended. In response, Xiaomi Motors stated that the company is making every effort to increase production capacity and accelerate delivery. Previously, multiple institutions released research reports stating that Xiaomi's expected delivery volume this year is between 60000 and 80000 vehicles.
