On the morning of April 2nd, Zheng Zhajie, Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, presided over the first thematic symposium on large-scale equipment updates and the exchange of old for new consumer goods. He had discussions and exchanges with leaders of six private enterprises, including JD Group, Midea Group, Haier Group, Gree Electric Appliances, Yadi Technology, and Greenland. He carefully listened to the demands and suggestions of entrepreneurs on the exchange of old for new consumer goods, and conducted in-depth discussions on the implementation of related work in the next step. Zheng Zhajie stated that in the next step, the National Development and Reform Commission will make good use of the inter ministerial joint meeting system to promote the development and growth of the private economy, work together with relevant departments, fully play the role of business entities, better play the role of government guidance, play a good role in policy combination, strengthen technological support such as information and intelligent technology, promote the exchange of old for new cars and appliances, and revitalize home furnishings, kitchens, and bathrooms, and solidly promote high-quality economic development in China.
