Cardano founder reveals Hydra will be released in two weeks

"Are you ready to launch Hydra on Rare Evo?" reads an announcement made by Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson on Aug. 2. The teaser comes ahead of the upcoming Rare Evo Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Conference, which is scheduled for August 15-17 in two weeks in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hydra is the cornerstone of Cardano's strategy to enhance network performance. It aims to increase transaction speed through the use of state channels, known as Hydra Heads, that facilitate off-chain transaction processing while maintaining the security measures of Cardano's main blockchain.
