Former Instagram and Facebook executive David Swain joined crypto VC Paradigm as chief marketing officer, and Swain's appointment came shortly after Paradigm raised $850 million in June for its third fund, which aims to invest in early-stage crypto projects.
According to Swain's LinkedIn profile, he served as head of global communications for Instagram and senior director of technical communications for Facebook, and as vice president of global partnerships for Strava, a social fitness app and community with more than 120 million members.
