Investment firm ARK Invest has been making a lot of moves in the cryptocurrency market recently, buying $21 million worth of Canada's 3iQ Ether Pledged ETF (ETHQ. U) for the first time while selling $14.60 million worth of shares in Coinbase.
The 3iQ Ethereum Pledging ETF has seen significant growth since its launch and is up about 40% year-to-date. The fund aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation by investing in Ether and generates passive income through staking. ARK purchased 1 million and 651,713 shares of ETHQ. U through the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) and ARK Fintech Innovation ETF, respectively.
