Forexlive: 70% chance of Fed cutting interest rates by 50 basis points in September

Analysts at financial website Forexlive said that against the backdrop of this report, there were some huge fluctuations in the market, especially the dollar against the yen, which plunged to 147.39. The yield on the US 2-year Treasury bond fell to 3.91%. We think the Fed could cut interest rates by as much as 42 basis points in September, which means a 70% chance of a 50 basis point cut. A rate cut by the end of this year is priced at 109 basis points.
