CoinGecko 研究报告显示，世界各国政府一共持有 471,380.6 枚 BTC，价值约为 327 亿美元，占比特币总流通供应量的 2.6%。其中，美国是比特币的最大持有者，拥有 213,297 枚比特币，约为 148.2 亿美元。其中很大一部分来自查封的暗网“丝绸之路”。
