Venture capital giant Paradigm recently led a $2.20 million funding round for MetaDAO, a Solana-based governance experiment, a months-long project to build governance structures that rely on market forces rather than votes.
According to MetaDAO's anonymous founder Proph3t, Paradigm will hold 3,035 META tokens, making it the largest single holder of META, accounting for 14.6% of the total supply. About 30 angel investors bought an additional 965 META tokens, raising a total of $2,229,950.
